Irony Vs. Satire
a: irony is a knife (scalpel) wielded by a surgeon ~
b: satire is a knife wielded by a mugger
What:
As knives, irony and satire both inflict pain. Yet the intention of irony is to cut out disease in order to heal; the intention of satire is to threaten, wound, even metaphorically kill.
